Update for lastfm.freedig.org

I just updated the code for my website lastfm.freedig.org. From now on users will be able to create up to 30000 badges which is a huge improvement over the old limit with 6000 badges.

This is possible thanks to qssl, a last.fm user, who offered to use some of his webspace for the badges.

There is probably one disadvantage. The images will load a little slower than they used to. At the moment it also seems as if the badges don’t show up all the time. I will see what I can do about those problems.

  6. great news, the disadvantage though is a problem as my badges do not load all the time. i really hope you can get this sorted, as although the extra server space is a step-forward my personal page is a bit of a step-backward.

    This is no worries though, thanks for your work and (probably) the best app for last.fm :)

    • The images load slower because they are stored on a different server and due to the increased traffic some requests end with this error:
      “Error 500 – Internal server error”

      Unfortunately I’m not able to solve any of those two problems at the moment.
